The Pearson Edexcel International GCSE in Commerce comprises four topics:

1. Commercial Operations
2. Commercial Risks
3. Finance for Commerce
4. Aids for Commerce.

Assessment

100% exam based.

• Paper 1 - Commercial operations and associated risks -1hr 30mins - 80 marks - 50%
  • Includes a mixture of multiple choice, short-answer and extended-writing questions.
  • Covers topics 1 and 2
  • Questions 3 and 4 are set in context (use case studies)
  • Calculators may be used

• Paper 2 - Facilitating commercial operations - 1hr 30mins - 80 marks - 50%
  • Includes a mixture of multiple choice, short-answer and extended-writing questions.
  • Covers topics 3 and 4
  • Questions 3 and 4 are set in context (use case studies)
  • Calculators may be used
